FLABBY "I'm Feeling Good Today". The new album!

"When music is classy, words are important!"

From " Anything Can Happen " to " I'm Feeling Good Today". Words are important , someone said : it would be enough just the distance between these two titles to tell a new chapter in the music of Flabby.

If the successful previous album , released in 25 countries and still in the charts on iTunes, told, through elegant jazzy sounds, moods fragility and complexity of human relationships, "I'm Feeling Good Today" is a ray of sunshine announcing the arrival of the long-awaited spring.

And if the words enshrine this newfound energy and the necessary hope for a better world , the sounds are the perfect vehicle of expression: in the 12 new songs by Rosario Pellecchia and Fabrizio Fiore, in fact, the rhythm and warmth of the soul ensure an absolute listening pleasure. Wide open, brilliant songs, to represent the will of the two musicians not to mediate, not to accept compromises in life as in art .

Because this is the true meaning of "I'm Feeling Good Today" feeling good thanks to the courage of their own choices, both human and musical.

The compositions of Fabrizio and the words of Ross, both very inspired , deserved aces to be translated into such beautiful songs : and it is no coincidence that Flabby went "back to Their Roots ", back to Naples, the cradle of talents, Naples has always been one of the world’s music capitals, back to where they started.

Meeting Antonio Fresa has been crucial to the project. Antonio, refined pianist and arranger, further to founder of MAD, a creative Neapolitan ensemble that, from the historic Piazza del Gesù, spreads art all-round; that's where was created the animated film by Alessandro Rak "The Art Of Happiness" which has now become a cult classic, acclaimed by some prestigious names in journalism, such as Roberto Saviano, Vincenzo Mollica, Fabio Fazio and Concita De Gregorio.

The mutual friend is Joe Barbieri, among the best Italian songwriters; it was during one of his concerts that Fabrizio and Ross meet Antonio and involve him, initially on the "Anything Can Happen" tour and then, almost inevitably, in the production of the new album .

Fresa brings together a number of enthusiastic musicians, including drummer Vittorio Riva, saxophonist Giulio Martino, trumpeter Gianfranco Campagnoli and Gigi Scialdone on bass.

On this Neapolitan foundation, are placed elements from the Milan scene, such as percussionist Sandro De Bellis .

Within 8 months, the Flabby record the new songs, making real a dream they have been nourishing for years: the orchestra ! The arches, directed by Fresa himself, give grace to 3 of the 12 songs, adding a stunning depth.

Going upstream, back to the path that led Flabby from "Anything Can Happen" to "I'm Feeling Good Today"

"Anything Can Happen" was Flabby’s return after about ten years, and there could be no better return than seeing your record released in 25 countries , among other things with very good results: the top of the jazz chart, further to Italy, in Hungary, Switzerland and Greece, and the chart entry in Norway, Finland , Netherlands, Portugal, Poland (TOP20 pop chart), South Korea, Japan ( TOP5 ), Ukraine, Indonesia, India, Turkey, Israel, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Latvia, Estonia, Slovakia, Russia, Azerbaijan and Czech Republic.

"The Sea Of You" from the album "Anything Can Happen" was the only song not produced by the inside music team of the soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" to be included in an episode of the world most watched soap opera.

"I'm Feeling Good Today" , has been released on February 4, wants to give continuity to what achieved by the previous work, and the first single "Let Yourself Go" an excellent premise.

Naples, the sun, the warmness, the need to go out and disclose, living their passions with enthusiasm and with no fear: this is what Flabby are today, and wish that by listening to this album, you feel great too!
